Serhan Turfan: “We turned our direction to digital with great determination and confidence”

Our General Manager Serhan Turfan was the guest of the “Procurement and Supply Leaders” issue of the Economist magazine, which has been prepared with the contributions of KoçZer for the last three years.

In his interview, he stated that we have turned our direction to digital with great determination and confidence while aiming to reflect that we are an expert business partner for companies of all sizes at the very first contact with the “KoçZer is with Your Business” discourse that we have adopted by taking KoçZer's 20-year journey behind us.

Stating that we completed 2023 by managing an acquisition volume of more than 1.5 billion dollars and that we generated 25% of our turnover from companies outside the group, Turfan said, “The next step in our overseas growth will be our investment in Romania, which we plan to complete by the end of this quarter. We will carry the beneficial model we have built in Turk to Romania in line with the dynamics of the market.”

Speaking about ZerGO, an online B2B marketplace and ZerCard, an employee/dealer reward system, our new products designed to meet different needs in the industry, he said, “Research predicts that by 2025, 80% of B2B sales interactions between suppliers and buyers will take place through digital channels. B2B buying behaviors are shifting to a buyer-centric digital model, a shift that has accelerated over the last few years.

Stating that he sees 2024 as a year in which the risks from 2023 are carried, Serhan Turfan said, “In the long term, we aim to make KoçZer a company that offers digital platforms and the expertise it has developed as an integrated service, dominating the Turkish market and competing globally.”.
