Serhan Turfan: “With ZerGO, we based on the element of trust, which is the focus of B2B trade.”

Our General Manager Serhan Turfan was the guest of Platin magazine.

In his interview, he talked about the strategic and technological steps we have taken in corporate procurement and supply chain management, in the digital market, and our efforts to bring the B2B business model to higher positions.

Turfan stated that we launched ZerGO, an easy-to-follow, digital and secure purchasing marketplace between the buyer and seller, with the need arising from the impact of the pandemic on the growth of online trade, its effects on the B2B market and the users' desire to find the experience and features they encounter as B2C customers in the B2B channel.

He explained the advantages of ZerGO as follows: “Sellers can reach larger markets and new customers. Instead of bearing the cost of setting up and managing their own online trade channels, they can be discovered online in a marketplace where the infrastructure is already built according to certain rules and user demand. Buyers, on the other hand, gain access to more suppliers from a single point with the assurance of a reliable business partner and a user-friendly infrastructure.”

Lastly, Turfan talked about our plans for abroad and said, “With the incorporation of Promena into KoçZer in 2013, we started to compete among global purchasing platforms. We are continuing this expansion with the distributorship structure and strategic partner agreements.” Turfan also said about our new company to be opened in Romania, “The fact that many of our companies within the group have operations in Romania and the subsidiaries of our existing customers are located in this country led us to the goal of establishing a limited liability company.”
